Jack Shore 1922 - 2008
Jack Shore was a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy from 1961 and its president from 1977- 1983. He was head of art at Cheadle Hulme School and a teacher at Blackpool School of Art. He had a variety of styles and was happy painting studio still life studies, nudes and plein air landscapes. His work is held in numerous important collections nationwide including Bury Art Museum and Scolton Manor Museum. Love his loose colourful style.
